Ergonomic Workstation Assessments

For staff who do not have an injury or pain but who require an assessment to enable staff to work in a biomechanically sound manner. Their assessments are normally done for groups of three or more staff.

This includes an assessment of the ergonomics and a work method analysis in relation to the specific requirements of the staff member’s role and body dimensions aimed at improving user comfort and performance as well as health and safety. There is a focus on empowering the individual to gain knowledge on favourable posture and approach to work to support their overall health and wellbeing.

An individual report is provided for each staff member seen.

Workplace

Assessment

This is a comprehensive assessment for staff who are experiencing pain or discomfort, have had an injury or medical condition impacting on their work ability.

This in-depth assessment includes gaining medical and pertinent background information together with information about the staff member’s physical presentation. Work methods and ergonomic analyses are undertaken specifically in relation to the staff member’s functional presentation. Recommendations are made to support the individual to optimise their ability to manage their presentation and engage in work.

A comprehensive report will be forwarded to you as the primary contact outlining the findings and recommendations from the assessment.
